Field

1. Intelligent image sensor chip design

The design, modeling, preparation and testing of CMOS image sensors, in collaboration with the National University of Singapore (NUS), Bio Image-Based Intelligent Image Sensors with Thermal Pixel Self-Healing Capabilities are highly appreciated by the partners. In addition, my project “Exponential Image Sensor with Analog Gamma Correction” and the participating project “Low-Power Current Image Sensor with Energy Harvesting” have been funded by the Hong Kong Academy of Applied Sciences (ASTRI). .

2. Mixed signal ultra large scale integrated circuit design

After four years of work, I worked at the VIRTUS IC Design Center jointly organized by the Singapore Government and Nanyang Technological University in Singapore. After two years, I worked in the Asia Pacific New Product Development Lab of the world's largest semiconductor wafer level test equipment manufacturer Advantest. Research and development of the company's new products.

3. Physical unclonable function chip

As a new type of low-power, high-security key storage method, the physical unclonable function can be widely used in encryption and decryption, anti-counterfeiting certification, and supply chain control. I designed and successfully streamed a variety of physical unclonable function chips (strong and weak physical non-clonal chips), which are superior to other designs in the international literature in terms of security and power consumption.

4. Hardware Trojan detection

Due to the horizontal development trend of the modern semiconductor industry, more untrusted third-party IP, CAD tools, and process manufacturers have been added to the chip design, manufacturing, and test chain. In order to eliminate the threat of hardware Trojans (backdoors), I analyze the effective information of the side channels to accurately detect the hardware Trojans hidden in the IC.

5. Biological image processing

Optimized and implemented a variety of bioimaging technologies (such as Oblique Reflection Meter, LASCA, etc.) from image sensor (bottom hardware) to image processing algorithm (software).
