Weili Dai was born in Jiangsu, China,in 1979. He received the B.S. degree in electrical engineering and automation from the Institute of Technology, Yangzhou University, Yangzhou,China,in 2001,and the M.S.and Ph.D. degrees in power electronics and motor drive from the Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics,

Nanjing, China, in 2004 and 2008, respectively. He is currently an Associate Professor with the College of Internet of Things Engineering, Hohai University, Changzhou, China. He has authored and co-authored more than 40 journal publications and conference papers. He holds ten patents in the area of electrical machine control. His current research interests include the design and advanced control of new electrical machines, industrial control automation and industrial internet, analysis and management of industrial big data.
