Prof. Guo mainly undertakes the research work in the fields of optimization theory, advanced control theory, heat transfer and hydrodynamics in solar power generation, hydropower generation and integrated energy system. The specific contents include: (1) Resource and power prediction, capacity and operation optimization of multi energy complementary system; (2) Resource and load prediction, capacity and operation optimization in Integrated Energy System including complex pipe network; (3) Photovoltaic power generation system engineering evaluation and fault diagnosis; (4) Modeling, control and fault diagnosis of solar thermal power generation. She has completed over 50 research programs in solar power, wind-solar complementary, integrated energy projects sponsored by state and ministerial science funds, such as the National key R & D plan, the National 863 key project, the National 973 project, the National Natural Science Foundation of China, etc. Prof. Guo published more than 80 academic papers, including 22 papers from international top journals. More than 20 invention patents have been authorized.
