Dr. Ziwei Li is a hydrologist specializing in cold-region water and energy;processes. He holds a PhD in Bioresource Engineering from McGill Universityand is currently affiliated with both Hohai University and McGill University. His research focuses on watershed-scale distributed cold-region hydrological;models, soil freeze–thaw dynamics, winter agricultural water management, and;machine-learning–enhanced hydrological prediction. Dr. Li developed an;integrated winter hydrology monitoring system and a high-performance computing;framework for large-scale simulations of frozen soil and snow. He has published;in leading journals including Water Resources Research,Agricultural Systems, Agricultural and Forest Meteorology, and Resources, Conservation & Recycling. He is a member of AGU, ASABE, and CSABE, and a recipient of the Angus F. MacKenzie Graduate Fellowship
