Resume

Wang Bing, male, born in December 1975 in Yangzhou, Jiangsu Province, holds a Ph.D. in engineering, professor, and master tutor. In 1998, he graduated from Department of Automation in Huazhong University of Science and Technology with a bachelor's degree in engineering; in 2001, he was admitted to Department of Automation in University of Science and Technology of China with a master's degree in control theory and control engineering, and obtained a doctor's degree in engineering in 2006. Then, he teaches in Hohai University, and now he is a teacher in College of Energy and Electrical Engineering. From 2009 to 2010, as a senior visiting scholar, he studied in the EECS Department of Case Western Reserve University for one year. He has been engaged in the theoretical research of networked nonlinear system control, the research of renewable energy generation control technology, etc. He hosted the National Natural Science Foundation General Projects and Youth Projects, and participated in more than 10 projects including the Eleventh Five-Year support plan, the National Natural Science Foundation of China, and State Grid Corporation's scientific and technological projects; More than 100 academic papers have been published, including more than 50 SCI/EI retrieval papers, 2 academic works and 1 textbook published by the first author, and more than 10 patents authorized. At present, he is the director of Jiangsu Association of Automation, the standing member of Youth Working Committee of Chinese Association of Automation, the senior member of China Electrotechnical Society, the member of Chinese Society for Electrical Engineering, and the member of procedure Committee of China Control Conference (CCC). Reviewers of “IEEE Transaction on Systems, Man and Cybernetics”, “IET Generation, Transmission &Distribution”, “Proceedings of The Chinese Society for Electrical Engineering”, “Control Theory and Application”, “Transactions of China Electrotechnical Society”, “Power System Technology”, “Electric Power Automation Equipment” and other journals at home and abroad.

Field

1Distributed control technology of wind power network system

Wind power generation has become the most potential new energy because of its abundant wind energy resources, low development cost and mature related technologies.With the increasing penetration rate of the wind power grid, the impact between the wind power system and the grid system is also growing, so how to solve various problems in the use of wind power generation, has important research significance.The research direction of this research group includes: nonlinear passive control of wind turbines, multiple unit control in wind farms, wind farm cluster control, multi energy field cluster control, etc.

2Photovoltaic power generation and new energy control technology

Photovoltaic power generation is widely concerned and recognized by people for its advantages of cleanness and richness. Photovoltaic grid connected power generation has gradually become the main force of renewable energy power generation.With the vigorous development of the photovoltaic power generation industry, research on photovoltaic power generation-related technologies has become imminent. Countries around the world have actively invested a lot of manpower and material resources in their research, mainly focusing on photovoltaic cells, maximum power tracking control, grid connected inverter control and protection control.The research directions of this research group includes: photovoltaic system modeling and parameter identification, active and reactive power control of photovoltaic power station, steady-state, dynamic and transient analysis of grid connected photovoltaic system, physical production of solar photovoltaic, DSP, etc.

3Nonlinear network control and application

Based on the linear control theory, the nonlinear control strategies and methods are proposed for the nonlinear system, and the nonlinear control theory is gradually formed. The research direction of this research group includes: control of lower triangular nonlinear system, passivity control, Hamiltonian system implementation and control, etc. With the development of communication technology and computer technology, the control system has gradually networked and intelligent. The control system is no longer centralized, but a distributed system composed of control components interconnected through the network. Sensors, controllers and actuators are connected by a control network to form a control loop, a so-called networked control system, which has the advantages of modularization, decentralized control, easy engineering development and maintenance, and low cost. In this research group, the research of networked control mainly includes the consistency, synchronization, delay, quantification, formation control and other issues in the distributed cooperative control of multi-agent.

4Intelligent algorithm and control and application

As the upgrade of traditional algorithm, intelligent algorithm has been greatly developed and applied in recent years. Intelligent algorithms have great contribution in image processing, pattern recognition, evolutionary computation, optimization algorithm and so on. Today's intelligent algorithms include: artificial neural network, genetic algorithm, particle swarm optimization algorithm, tabu search algorithm, deep learning and so on. The research on intelligent algorithms in this research group mainly includes: intelligent algorithm and load forecasting, intelligent algorithm and photovoltaic power forecasting, intelligent optimization algorithm and so on. In the field of intelligent control, fuzzy control, neural network control, evolutionary computation and swarm intelligence can also be combined with traditional control algorithms.

The integration of intelligent control technology includes two aspects: one is to integrate several intelligent control methods and mechanisms to form an advanced hybrid intelligent control system, such as fuzzy neural control system, fuzzy control system based on genetic algorithm, fuzzy expert system and so on; the other is to combine intelligent control technology with traditional control theory to form intelligent load intensity controller, such as fuzzy control, neuron control, fuzzy sliding mode control, neural network optimal control, etc.
