ResumeDr. Gang Wang is an associate professor at Hohai University. He works in ocean wave transformation and model simulation. Wave in resonance with topography is an active and exciting area of ocean wave transformation. His work in it involves in harbour resonance, edge wave, tsunami trapped by islands and tsunami guided by ocean ridges.He deduces analytic solutions and conducts simulations for both numerical and physical models to investigate them.His current research interests focuses on non-hydrostatic models and their applications in coastal and ocean disaster.He has received over £120k research grants as PI and published 40 research articles.
