Yangxiaoqiang

Dr. Yang conductd doctoral studies at the Helmholtz Centre for Environmental Research   (UFZ) in Germany and earned a Doctor Degree in Natural Sciences from the University of Potsdam. From 2019 to 2022, he did postdoc at the Leibniz Institute of Freshwater Ecology and Inland Fisheries (IGB) and the Helmholtz Centre for Environmental Research. Since June 2023, he has joined the Hohai University.  

His research  primarily focuses on coupled eco-hydrological and water  quality processes and modeling at the catchment scale. He has  developed a watershed eco-hydrological-water quality model and has  published over 30 SCI papers, including first/corresponding-authored papers in top-ranking journals such as Water Resources Research (5 papers), Water Research, Geophysical Research Letters, and Journal of Hydrology.

He is now serving as an Associate Editor of the Journal Hydrological Processes and the reviewer for leading journals in the field.
