Jingwei Zhang currently works at the College of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering, Hohai University. He is the supervisor of Master students. His current research focuses on the intelligent operation and maintenance of photovoltaic systems, mechanical and electrical integration equipment control and optimization design research. He is now a member of photovoltaic committee of China Renewable Energy Society and member of IEEE. At present, he has been leading many R&D projects funded by the government or enterprises. During the PhD study, he participated in two projects of the National Natural Science Foundation of China. 

He has published more than 30 papers in journals and conferences. 7 patents were authorized as the first/second inventor. He is also the reviewer for IEEE Transactions on Industrial Electronics, IEEE Transactions on Energy Conversion, IET Electric Power Applications, IET Smart Grid and many other international journals.
