Yan Zhou was born in Changzhou, China, in 1982. She received the B.S. degree and the M.S. degree in communication engineering from Xi'an Jiaotong University, China, in 2003 and 2007, and received the Ph.D. degree from Hohai University, in 2016. She is an associate professor in Hohai University, China. Her research interests include underwater information perception and image processing, computer vision and pattern recognition.
