Integrating geo-informatics and remote sensing techniques including optical, thermal infrared and satellite altimetry for environment monitoring, with focuses on cryosphere change in High Mountain Asia and its hydrologic impacts, including:

lInvestigating multi-dimensional glacier change (length, area, volume and mass balance) and the driving forces

lGlacier mapping based on multi-source remote sensing data

lRemote sensing of land surface temperature and climate change
