Yanming Chen: male, born in 1985, Nanjing, Jiangsu, China. PhD, associate professor, graduate instructor.


Research Interests: Long-term research in the field of photogrammetry and remote sensing technology, focusing on the technical development and application services of geographic information such as LiDAR data and optical remote sensing images, and has made a series of research results in spatial data coupling, remote sensing information extraction, intelligent classification of features, 3D model reconstruction, etc.


Research Projects: He has hosted 8 projects of the National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC), National Key Research and Development Program, and participated in more than 10 projects of the Ministry of Education (MOE), National 863 Program, National Science and Technology Support Program, National Social Science Foundation of China (NSFC), and National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC).


Academic achievements: He has published more than 60 academic papers (among which more than 30 have been retrieved by SCI/SSCI), authorized 20 national invention patents, registered 9 software copyrights, and provided pioneering and exemplary technical services for urban intelligent perception, 3D China construction, geographic state monitoring, etc.


Awards and honors: He has won the first prize of Science and Technology Progress Award of the Ministry of Education, the first prize of Science and Technology Award of Land and Resources, the national high-quality online open course (lead teacher), the special prize of the National University GIS Teaching Achievement Award, the National University GIS New Talent Award, the high-level innovation and entrepreneurship talent program of Jiangsu Province, the excellent young science and technology worker in the surveying, mapping and geographic information industry of Jiangsu Province, the first prize of the excellent undergraduate graduation thesis of Jiangsu Province, etc.
