ResumeYingjun Wu Dr. Yingjun Wu received his Ph.D. degree from Politecnico di Torino (PoliTO), Italy, in May 2013. He joined the School of Electrical and Power Engineering at Hohai University in 2018, where he is currently an Associate Professor and Doctoral Supervisor. His research interests include stability and resilience of renewable power systems, demand response and virtual power plants, and cyber–physical security in power grids. Dr. Wu has led 8 national and provincial research projects, including projects funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC), the National Science and Technology Major Project, the Scientific Research Foundation for Returned Overseas Scholars of the Ministry of Education of China, and the Jiangsu Provincial Natural Science Foundation. He has also led over 40 industry-sponsored projects. He has published over 80 peer-reviewed papers (more than 40 indexed by SCI) in leading journals and conferences, including Renewable and Sustainable Energy Reviews, IEEE Internet of Things Journal, and IEEE Transactions on Sustainable Energy. He holds 14 granted Chinese invention patents (with 2 successfully transferred) and has developed an intelligent distribution simulation system. He has contributed as a co-author to one academic monograph and participated in the development and publication of three industry/group technical standards or guidelines. His research has been recognized with the Energy Innovation Award of the China Energy Research Society and the First Prize of the 24th Jiangsu Provincial Enterprise Management Modernization Innovation Achievement Award (2017). He also received the IEEE PCCC Outstanding Volunteer Award (2023) and was honored as an IEEE PES Ambassador. He is actively engaged in academic service. Dr. Wu serves as Secretary of the IEEE PES Nanjing Chapter, a member of the IEEE PES Young Professionals Technical Advisory Committee (YP TAC SC), an executive board member of the IEEE PES (China) Subcommittee on Onshore Wind Power Integration, and a board member of the IEEE PES (China) Subcommittees on Smart Grid & Artificial Intelligence and on Energy Services & Blockchain Technology. He also serves on the Virtual Power Plant Committee of the Jiangsu Institute of Electrical Engineering and the Energy Efficiency Committee of the Jiangsu Integrated Energy Services Industry Alliance. He is currently an Associate Editor or Editorial Board Member for journals including Digital Twins and Applications (DTA) and Demand Side Management of Power Systems, a Youth Editorial Board Member for Protection and Control of Modern Power Systems (PCMP) and Electric Power Automation Equipment, and a Young Expert Committee Member for Energy Conversion and Economics (ECE). In addition, he has served as Secretary of IEEE APPEEC 2024 and as Session Chair for several international conferences. He has supervised multiple students who have received honors including the National Scholarship, the China Scholarship Council (CSC) Fellowship, Best Student Paper Awards at international conferences, and the recognition of IEEE PES Ambassador.
